Why Watch?

Join Gene Kim (author of The Phoenix Project) plus speakers from Google and Apprenda for a conversation on the state of DevOps in the age of containers and container orchestration. We’ll discuss the growth of Docker and Kubernetes, analyze the shift in focus from automation to full orchestration in distributed environments, and learn from the experiences Google has had running containers and clusters at massive scale.

To Be Discussed:

  • Is Kubernetes the Linux kernel of distributed computing?
  • What lessons did Google learn from running billions of containers in production for a decade?
  • Why has Kubernetes adoption outpaced others?
