Three Short Links is a daily peek at some of the more interesting things on the Internet that wander past my view. They’re mostly technology and programming focused, with some randomness mixed in.

  • huptime – A Linux wrapper for zero-downtime updates to running processes. No need to write code to handle it.
  • orleans – Distributed actor model for .NET out of Microsoft Research. Definitely worth a deeper look if you’re a .NET shop writing distributed applications.
  • Chromebook Pixel 2 On the Way – Such a pretty laptop, but it’s hard when I know I’m not always going to be connected (I’m looking at you, Amtrak route from Albany to NYC).
